Gutter Installations
Gutter Guys is a full service gutter company. Amongst other services, we proudly offer professional gutter system design and customized installations including 5" & 6" K Style seamless and 5" & 6" Half Round Style aluminum, copper and zinc gutters. Proper gutter system design ensures that your gutters are not only functional, but also complement the architecture and style of your home and landscaping. Another element of good gutter system design is making sure that the water your gutters move is properly dispensed, away from your homes' foundation.
We take pride in using only premium quality materials including .032 gauge aluminum for gutters, steel triple galvanized hex screws for hanging gutters, and .024 gauge aluminum with painted stainless steel screws for downspouts. Our suppliers tell us that most companies do not consistently use this caliber of materials (as they represent only 15% of their sales). On the other hand, we at Gutter Guys firmly believe that premium quality materials result in a longer lasting and better looking job. We also believe that it is important to be ecologically responsible so the longer our installations last, the more "green" and eco-friendly they are! Our gutter materials have a 20 year warranty but we contend that our gutter systems can last 30 years or longer.
A Seamless gutter simply means that a straight gutter is made of one continuous peace of gutter material. There are still seams on corner miters, downspout outlets and end cups. Seamless gutters are more durable because seams tend to weaken the gutter over time and can cause annoying water leaks in as little as ten or fifteen years after installation. The seam sealer used can crack due to the constant expansion and contraction of the metal and may have to be re-sealed from the inside with a special high quality gutter sealer.
Copper vs. Aluminum
When it comes to functionality, there is really no difference what your gutters are made of. Aluminum is cost effective and provides a neat, clean look. Copper is very expensive compared to aluminum but may be desirable on certain buildings to provide a distinctive classic look as it takes on the color of its greenish patina over time.

Selecting a gutter type: K Style, Or 1/2 Round
The "K" System and 1/2 Round System are the most common and efficient gutters. We install these gutters in two sizes: 5" and 6". Please inquire about any other styles or custom made gutters that you might be interested in.
"K" System Gutters- can be made from aluminum or copper commonly in 5" and 6" widths and should be made right at the job site if any gutter lengths are over twenty feet. This ensures that all gutter lengths are made seamless. "K" System gutters can be hung in a number of ways. The best way is to attach them to the fascia board with inside hidden gutter hangers, which add structural rigidity to the gutter. Furthermore, Gutter Guys will only use screws in all gutter installations. Screws, unlike nails, do not pull out over time causing sagging gutters. Downspouts put together with stainless steel screws can actually be quickly and neatly taken apart for clog clearing as opposed to riveted ones which have to be ripped apart or drilled out which is more time consuming and may lead to further damage.
1/2 Round System- just like "K" system, these gutters can also be made from aluminum or copper in 5" and 6" widths. This 1/2 round look has a nice, classic appeal to some older homes and may also be appropriate if there is no fascia board. Please note that 1/2 Round gutters are not usually available seamless in lengths of more than 25 feet.
